I know that there are different levels of motorcycle enthusiasts- from the “I just love how cute I look on my Piaggio Vespa.” to the “I wanna ride through all the dirt roads I can lay eyes on during my lifetime.”
Whatever the case, there is one thing that all motorcycle users have in common, and that is the universal love for freedom!
Here, I’m going to give you some great ideas to help the motorcyclists in your life rev that engine and ride off into the sunset, carefree and daring!
THE BEST MOTORCYCLE GIFT IDEAS FOR YOUR BUDGET
Without a doubt, you’re probably thinking, “Aren’t motorcycle products expensive?”
Well, yes and no.
Just as with everything else, you can find numerous items in the motorcycle category to fit your budget.
So, based on that, I’ve decided to break this down into 3 categories- Low budget, Medium budget, and high budget.
These are mostly items that we have bought or received as gifts for our motorcycles over the years, including a few extras we’d like to add to our collection.
Just click on your preferred budget category to take you directly where you wanna be.
Awesome and Practical Gift Ideas for Motorcycle Lovers LOW BUDGET
This list is for those who are really tight on a budget. Or perhaps have a huge family (like ours!), and are shopping for gifts for the holidays. These biker gifts might be cheap, but they are still highly useful to motorcyclists.
Personally, we don’t mind cheap presents so long as they have a function and aren’t trivial like bottle openers in the shape of motorcycles or, even worse, yet another coffee mug.
So, if you’re looking for some trivial and funny items, then I’m afraid this article isn’t for you. We’re serious here.
1. Hanging and Foldable Toiletry Bag
This is the perfect organizer for motorcycle lovers on the road. They can organize their toiletries and cosmetics all in one place. And when they arrive where they have to lodge for the night, all they have to do is unfold, and hang it someone close by. This is definitely a great gift for male and female motorcyclists, as well as an amazing gift for frequent travellers, who have to make frequent stops.
2. Motorcycle Anti-slip Handlebar Grip
You know those moments when your palms are super sweaty or you have slick, smooth gloves and can’t grip bike handlebars properly? Well, this handlebar helps with having a comfortable and less sweaty grip, which makes riding a motorcycle safer.
3. Helmet Liner or Balaclava Mask
Another really cool low-budget gift idea is this helmet liner. This is really important for both of us. For Pietro, it catches his sweat and keeps his helmet fresh and clean without being smelly. In my case, it helps keep my hair in place so my helmet fits, while also preventing my helmet from oozing. Alternatively, if your rider is more “fashionable”, you could pick up this balaclava mask, which provides sun protection and helps keep the head and neck cool.
Awesome and practical at the same time!
4. Collapsible Travel Cup or Waterbottle
This is another favorite of ours (mine, especially). It’s lightweight and fits easily anywhere on a motorcycle. Since I’m not crazy about getting dressed just to go for breakfast – where I only have coffee anyway, I found this silicon collapsible cup very useful. I can have my coffee in the comfort of wherever I am. Another bonus is that it keeps your drinks warm or cold, and it is reusable too! This foldable water bottle could also be a great option for keeping hydrated while on the road.
I bet your motorcyclist friend/family member will find this very useful and cool.
5. Portable Electric Water Heater
This gift idea pairs up nicely with #3 above. This combination is one of the best gifts you can give a motorcyclist who travels long journeys and loves to camp. The water heater heats up water fast and fits perfectly in the silicon travel cup (which is heat resistant too).
With this combination, I never worry about breakfast time.
6. Transparent World Map Sticker
Next on the list is something that most motorcycle enthusiasts would definitely find awesomely practical (maybe not you, if you’re not on the team).
This really cool world map sticker is transparent so you only see the map of the world as in the picture of our motorcycle above.
I really love the feel and look it gives to our bike. Kinda like we are expert and experienced world travelers- Not that we aren’t, just that we haven’t reached everywhere on the map yet. We’re working towards that though.
7. Elastic Net and Organiser For Motorcycles
Yet another great gift idea for your motorcycle lover mate. We’ve got several of them and we don’t go anywhere without one.
These stretchy mesh nets can be used to organize contents nicely both inside and on top of the top case of a motorcycle. Likewise, they can be used to hold things down, using clips, tightly to avoid minimal movement while riding. How much more pragmatic can it get?
8. Universal Travel Adaptor
The Universal Travel Adaptor is one item that EVERY traveler needs. You never know where you might find yourself, so this is a must-have travel essential. Imagine the hassles of arriving in a country with the wrong charging plug. What a headache!
Buy this gift for your motorcycle lover friend, and they’d surely appreciate it!
9. Motorcycle Tool Roll Bag
Perhaps, the most practical motorcycle present idea in this list, it goes without a doubt that any seasoned motorcycle rider will appreciate having a place to keep all their tools in one easy-to-access place. We highly recommend having a motorcycle tool roll bag because there’s always something that needs tightening or fixing when on a long road trip.

Awesome and Practical Gift Ideas for Motorcycle Lovers MEDIUM BUDGET
If you fall into this category, a great idea could be to either combine items from the “Thrifty” shoppers section above or pick something here.
Motorcycle lovers often tend to travel long distances and could be driving for as long as 3 hours (or more) in one stretch.
Therefore, for the perfect gift idea, I have included something that will help your darling motorcycle lovers ease the discomfort somewhat.
10. FOLDABLE TRAVEL HAIR DRYER
Let’s start this lift off with a gift for motorcyclists who care about caring for their hair while on the road. A hairdryer like this one folds nicely and can fit into a pannier without taking up much space. It comes with a travel bag where they can stash other hair products. It’s a perfect match for not just motorcycle travel enthusiasts but for travellers in general.
11. TRIPLE PURPOSE cordless ELECTRIC SHAVING KIT
Ok, tell me this isn’t genius!
A cordless shaving set that can go from beard shaver to nose trimmer in a second, it is also very practical since it has 120 minutes of shaving time. What more could a hairy motorcyclist, out on the road and seeking some TLC, want?
Get this for your motorcycle enthusiast and thank us later.
Here’s another practical gift idea for both female and male motorcyclists. This drop-leg bag fits snugly and perfectly high on the leg. It has straps that wrap nicely around the thigh. It is also waterproof and resistant to minor crashes. Additionally, it looks pretty cool – a lot better than a fanny pack. For travelers who love to hike, this is also a perfect idea for a gift because it serves as a handbag or backpack.
13. Travel First Aid Kit
We all know how dangerous it can get on the road for motorcyclists. Sometimes, we even find ourselves in the middle of nowhere and if an adventurous biker gets hurt, a first aid kit can certainly come in handy.
If you get this for your biker friend, they’ll surely be grateful for your thoughtful gesture.
This kit comes in a soft bag which makes it easy to store in most motorcycle cases.
14. Electric Seat Heating Pad
The next item on this list is one of the best gifts you could give a motorcycle lover and traveler.
When we first began riding, we had a Honda NC750XC which was great as a starter bike but not the most comfortable on the behind for long-term motorcycle travel, in wet, cold weather.
Had we known before going on that first trip, we would have gotten a couple of these seat heating pads to keep us warm and comfortable.
Get this for your motorcycle person and they would surely levitate with joy.
15. Motorcycle Anti-Theft Lock
Ok now, who doesn’t like to be safe? Motorcycle theft is sadly, a real thing, no matter the size. Imagine being off somewhere, coming out, and finding your bike gone.
Ouch!
Thankfully, we haven’t experienced that but we always make sure to use our anti-theft lock whenever we’re packed somewhere, even if we have insurance. Besides their sturdiness, locks like these are usually compact enough to fit in a side bag, thus making a really practical and cool gift option for a motorcycle lover.
16. Motorcycle Phone Mount With Charger
Where would we be without our telephones these days? Apart from communicating while on the road, motorcycle travellers need to be able to navigate with ease. This motorcycle phone mount uses wireless and USB cable charging.
A gift like this is great for not only making handsfree calls, but also to follow navigation with ease.
17. Action Camera Accessories
Does your motorcycle lover have action cameras? Then getting accessories for their cameras is definitely going to impress them. For example, we got this 3-meter Insta 360 camera selfie stick as a Christmas gift. It gives us amazing “follow me” drone-like videos while riding. Go Pro also has an all-in-one accessory pack than can be used with the latest generation series, all the way to GoPro 9.
18. Around the World Scratch-Off Travel Map
What’s practical about this awesome world travel map gift? Well, it serves as not only a reminder of the places where your motorcycle enthusiast friend or family member has been, but it is also an aesthetically pleasing piece of wall art.
At the moment, we have a small magnetic wall map, and we wouldn’t mind upgrading to a larger one, especially since we’re doing more and more travelling theses days.
19. Motorcycle Helmet Wall Mount
Another fantastic gift idea for a motorcycle lover would be this helmet wall mount, which also comes with a hook for hanging a jacket.
The best thing about is can also be conveniently mounted inside a closet or on the outer side of a wardrobe.
20. Motorcycle Side Case Inner Pannier Bags
These motorcycle liner bags are a real game changer for motorcycle travelers.
For us, it made things so much easier to organize and find. What’s more, we don’t have to unhook the side cases to get our luggage into the hotel. All we have to do is get these bad boys out, sling them over our shoulders, and stride in with confidence.
I bet your motorcycle person would think this was a brilliantly practical idea!
These are compatible with most panniers designed for BMW bikes but can also be adapted to other side cases depending on size.

Awesome and Practical Gift Ideas for Motorcycle Lovers High Budget
So, If you’re feeling like “I don’t really care how much it costs, I just want to make my motorcyclist buddy happy.”, then this is the list for you.
Once again, you can combine articles from the previous sections or
21. A High Performance Action Camera
When planning our trips, one of the first things we do is make sure our GoPro camera is all set and ready to go. And we have other action cameras too like the Insta 360 X3 camera, which ensures that we record every part of our adventures on the road.
Action cameras are designed to withstand tough conditions and still take really smooth and stunning videos (and photos) at high definition.
For a more economic alternative, you could get an AKASO Brave camera. already come with free accessories, which is great value for money.
22. Motorcycle GPS Anti-Theft Tracker
Wouldn’t you agree that a motorcycle adventure traveler would appreciate a gift that gives them peace of mind wherever they leave their bike? Well, this anti-theft motorcycle tracker does that and more. It is wireless and easy to install, tracks in real-time using GPS, and – the cherry on the cake- calls the rider’s phone in case of theft.
Another amazing gift idea for motorcyclists is a sound intercom system. This is perfect if the motorcyclist travels in pairs or even alone. They can receive phone calls, hands-free, listen to the navigator giving directions, or listen to a bit of music to stay alert. As we mentioned, the rider doesn’t have to have a partner to use one so it’s still a great choice.
We use the Cardo Freecom 4X intercom system and we’ve never had any issues with it. It has an app where we can make adjustments and updates while also keeping track of the system.
When travelling long journeys on a motorcycle, one of the main worries is the overall weight of the bike when fully loaded. Most motorcycle luggage is in metal, which although sturdy, adds its own weight. So what better way to reduce the weight off your motorcycle buddy’s shoulders than to present them with a softer, lighter motorcycle side bag, which is not only waterproof, but can also withstand falls and harsh weather.
We actually use the Lone Rider Overlander motorcycle bag. You’ll get a 5% discount coupon if you buy using our link.
25. Motorcycle Real Leather Jacket
Another really cool motorcycle gift idea is a real leather jacket, which can both be practical (keeps warm), and aesthetically pleasing.
What’s even more awesome, is that they can be used as a patch board for location travel patches. You definitely can’t go wrong with a leather jacket.
26. All Terrain Motorcycle Navigator
Now, this is the mother of all gifts!
With the Garmin navigator, motorcyclists can go anywhere in confidence whether there’s internet connection or not. The screen is 5.5″ and comes with preloaded maps. You, however, have to make sure to get one that has maps of your region, e.g United States Maps, or Europe Maps.
The badass part of this gift is that it fulfils the practical end while adding a fun edge because with this navigator, motorcycle enthusiasts can discover lots of off-road hairpin bends, and curves to explore.
